The Greater Reading Convention & Visitors Bureau has launched its redesigned website, www.readingberkspa.com.

It has fresh images, crisp colors, descriptive captions, clear directives and trip-planning tools.

The new design allows visitors to easily find information about area events, lodging, restaurants, shopping and more.

The new website encourages visitors to build itineraries, book rooms and take advantage of coupons and daily specials to local venues, attractions and restaurants, bureau President Crystal Seitz said.

"As more and more consumers utilize the internet to plan vacations and business travel, our site allows our members to advertise and readily reach their audiences when it is most advantageous for them."

Additionally, the website now has a call to action, Go Greater Reading.

Welcome to the discussion.
