Berks County sheriff's deputies arrested a Reading man who was wanted in connection with a raid in April when state agents seized cocaine at a city home.

The deputies arrested Luis Manual Velazquez Jr., 30, at 1219 N. 10th St., Reading, about 1 p.m. Friday, May 20.

Deputies had received an anonymous tip about Velazquez and found him in a third-floor closet. He did not resist arrest.

In April, the state Attorney General's Office issued an arrest warrant for Velazquez after office agents searched 215 S. Fourth St. in Reading and seized a shoebox containing a scale, a plastic bag with a large amount of cocaine and drug packaging material.

They said Velazquez had been seen entering and exiting the apartment regularly.
