Local businesswoman releases book, “Recipes For Thoughtful Leadership and Healthy Culture”

Wyomissing, PA—FOCUSED, LLC founder Bonnie Sussman-Versace is pleased to announce the release of her first book “Recipes For Thoughtful Leadership and Healthy Culture” with a “Meet the Author” Reception.

The reception will be held in the Library of the DoubleTree by Hilton, 701 Penn Street, Reading PA 19601 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Signed copies of the book will be available for sale.

The reception will showcase one of the book’s featured recipes provided by Craig Poole, General Manager, DoubleTree by Hilton, as well as a selection of beverages. The reception is free and open to the public.

The date for the reception is Wednesday, January 25, 2017.

The book represents a collection of articles written by Sussman-Versace, and published in various editions of the Lehigh Valley Business magazine. The collection has been modified into a series of short recipes for achieving thoughtful leadership and healthy culture, then blended together with actual food recipes from the regions top professionals designed to make your reading experience more flavorful.

According to Sussman-Versace, “When you nurture, learn, practice and live a healthy culture and thoughtful leadership, the results will be obvious. Your company will attract the best and finest team members, customers and vendors, as they will all want to be part of an ongoing success story.”

Bonnie Sussman-Versace grew up in her parent’s retail clothing business, learning the value of great customer service at a very early age. In 1981, she became the Founder and Operating Principal of Commercial Design & Furnishings (CD&F), a $4.5M firm offering a unique turnkey business model from site selection through relocation. The company prospered because it was passionately focused on providing a superb client experience such that an average of 83% of its business came from repeat and referred clients for 20 consecutive years. Bonnie also was the Founder and Chairperson of the Berks County Small Business Roundtable and the Healthcare Roundtable; and developed the first partnering alliance between commercial interior design firms in South Africa and the United States.

In 2006, Bonnie founded FOCUSED, LLC to help other businesses develop leadership potential, enhance culture, and improve individual, team and company-wide performance. Knowing a healthy company requires a positive and productive culture, she developed effective new tools, like Boot Camp for Business Owners® and THE ACT FORMULA®, teaching company leaders and employees how to work together around heightened values of accountability, communication and trust.
