Berks Encore’s “Your Retirement, Your Benefits” Sessions, Info You Need to Access Retirement Benefits

Reading, PA—Are you turning 65 in 2017? If so, you might have questions about your retirement benefits. Berks Encore APPRISE counselors offer monthly sessions called “Your Retirement, Your Benefits,” a step by step educational program that will give you the knowledge you need to access your benefits.

The sessions will provide participants with the basics of Medicare, including how to enroll, how to supplement Medicare benefits, what Medicare coverage will cost and what financial assistance is available. Sessions will also cover basics of Social Security.

All sessions take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Sessions are free but require registration. To register for a “Your Retirement, Your Benefits” education session or for more information, please call (610) 374-3195, x208.

APPRISE is a free health insurance counseling program to help Pennsylvania Medicare recipients understand their benefits.  Berks Encore APPRISE counselors are available year-round to offer friendly, unbiased information and advice.
