Comfort Keepers

(West Lawn, PA).  In celebration of Random Acts of Kindness (observed on February 17), Comfort Keepers of Berks County, will be awarding ten (10) Berks County seniors with a “Caregiver for the Day” which includes four (4) hours of complimentary non-medical, in-home care.

Many Berks County seniors live alone, working hard to maintain an independent lifestyle. Comfort Keepers is seeking nominations for seniors who would appreciate a companion for the day to help with light housekeeping, take them on an errand, make a meal or simply help them get dressed and fix their hair. Families that provide caregiving to their loved one are especially encouraged to apply.

Nomination forms are available on-line at www.ComfortKeepers.com/BerksCounty-PA, by request at 610-678-8000 or email [email protected]. Nominations accepted through February 28, 2017.

Ten nominees will receive a “Caregiver for a Day” for four (4) hours of complimentary non-medical, in-home care that can include any of Comfort Keepers services including:  light housekeeping, medication reminders, meal preparation, dementia care, incontinence care, end-of-life care and personal hygiene care.  Nominees must reside in BerksCounty and live in eligible zip codes.  Chosen nominees will be notified by Comfort Keepers staff.  Scheduling may be subject to staff availability.
