Wilson Community Forum About the Position of Superintendent

The Wilson School District Board of Directors invites district parents, students, staff, and community members to attend a Community Forum to gather information to be used to set criteria for the background, training, and experience necessary for the new Superintendent of Schools. Board President Mr. Steve Ehrlich, along with superintendent search consultants Dr. Jill Hackman and Mr. Rob Rosenberry, from the Berks County Intermediate Unit, will explain the search process, the roles played by the board, the staff, and the public in the process.

In addition, the timeline for the search process will be reviewed. Each forum will provide an opportunity for parents, students, teachers, and community members to share input related to what qualities and characteristics they are looking for in the next Superintendent of Schools. Information gathered, together with input from an online community survey, will be used to shape the screening of candidates and to devise interview questions for the search team.

In order to accommodate schedules, there will be two meeting sessions which will be held in the administration building’s board room located at 2601 Grandview Boulevard in West Lawn. :

Morning Session: Monday, April 10, at 11:30 a.m.

Evening Session: Monday, April 10, at 7:00 p.m.

The Wilson School District Board of Directors hopes you are able to attend – everyone is welcome!
