Women have played a huge role in shaping the Americana music songbook.   Female musician, singer/songwriters like Mother Maybelle Carter, Elizabeth Cotton, Dolly Parton and Pennsylvania Americana Region’s own Taylor Swift, have made profound and lasting contributions to the world or music, the entertainment industry and have also helped to move the status of women in the role of band and business leader into a highly-respected career and profession choice for all of those from any gender who feel the spirit of the muse guiding them to communicate through music and show business.

With this in mind, Berks Country Fest: An Americana Jamboree proudly presents our “Girls Night Out” concert experience at Building 24, Wyomissing, PA, on Saturday, June 17, 2017, 7 to 10pm.  This will truly be a memorable evening as three amazing female singer/songwriter/bandleaders will literally have their “night out” to share their talent and passion with audience members both male and female.  A show for everyone, this concert will be one of the most unique presentations of the year, even featuring a unique fashion show presented by sponsor Petite Milan.
