ANNVILLE, Pa. – Albright sophomore Jeff Yordy concluded his baseball season on a very positive note as he was named MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week.

Yordy led Albright to a 3-2 week, including a 2-1 series win over Lebanon Valley. Yordy contributed to the scoreboard with nine RBIs and five runs scored while batting .412 with a .882 slugging percentage. He finished the week with two home runs, two doubles and was 4-for-4 on stolen bases. All four of his stolen bases came in game one against LVC to tie a single-game school record. Both of his home runs came in a midweek win over Susquehanna.

In the first game of the doubleheader sweep of LVC, Yordy hit a bases loaded, three-run double to tie the game with the Lions down to their last out. He then scored the go-ahead run in the next at-bat. Yordy did not make an error all week in 14 chances.
