Get to Know Us Emergency Services Day

The Pennsylvania State Police will be hosting a “Get to Know Us Emergency Services Day” on Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 11am to 3pm at Alvernia University located at: 400 St. Bernadine Street, Reading, PA 19607.

Come out and meet area emergency personnel. Interact and ask questions about Pennsylvania State Police recruitment and careers in policing. The following will be in attendance: Reading City Fire Department, Reading City Ambulance, Pennsylvania State Police Recruitment, Pennsylvania Liquor Control Enforcement, Pennsylvania Department of Corrections, Reading City Police Department, Reading City Bomb Squad and the Pennsylvania State Police Special Emergency Response Team (S.E.R.T.), Bomb Squad, Aviation and Mounted Units.

We will be providing free car seat checks for those interested to ensure your child safety seat is installed properly. The Baltimore Life Company will also be onsite making free Child IDs, Medical IDs and Sport identification cards. This is a free event.
