Neighborhood Input Session: The Future of Centre Park

Neighborhood Input Session

The Future of Centre Park

June 8, 2017 – 7 p.m.

Centre Park Historic District Headquarters

705-707 North 5th Street

The purpose of this meeting is to gain neighborhood input on the future of Centre Park, located at the 700 block of Centre Avenue and the 300 block of Douglass Avenue. The Centre Park Historic District is soliciting the input of our neighbors on whether efforts should be undertaken at this time to make improvements, renovations and plans for future sustainability of the park.

(Please note: due to deed restrictions playground equipment, pavilions, pools, bandstands and concession stands cannot be developed in this park). This city-owned park serves as the centerpiece of the Centre Park Historic District and is primarily maintained through neighborhood efforts.

Please join us Thursday, June 8th at 7 p.m. at the Centre Park Historic District headquarters to learn more about the history of the park and the challenges we may face in maintaining the space in the future.
