Sinking Spring, Pa. – Continuing its strategic plan theme of growing to the next level, The Anderson Group (TAG) has added Diane McConnell as account executive and promoted its director of digital strategies, Derek Hollister, to chief creative officer.

“As the strategic development of TAG continues, we hire and shift internally to better service the ongoing success of our clients,” said Missy Orlando, president / COO. “Moving full steam ahead, we are putting our full support behind client services and creative services.”

As account executive, McConnell manages client relationships and is the liaison between the agency creative team and clients, with a focus on developing strategic initiatives as well as managing marketing plan execution. She will also put her operational skills to use as she coordinates traffic and project management.

As part of her 25+ years of agency experience, McConnell previously worked at TAG for five years, and brings extensive experience with several of TAG’s long-standing clients. Most recently, she worked as account service manager for White Good MARCOM Agency, Lancaster, Pa., leading strategic planning and marketing execution for her clients. Prior to that, she worked as account supervisor and account executive for TFM Advertising/Top Flight Media, Harrisburg, Pa. and as account executive and media buyer at BK Advertising, Lebanon, Pa.

McConnell received her associate degree from Central Pennsylvania College, Summerdale, Pa. She currently resides in Lebanon, Pa., with her husband.

As new chief creative officer for TAG, Hollister will lead the overall direction of the creative department. Hollister has extensive experience in branding, print and environmental design, digital and user experience design, and creative direction. With expertise in designing for both print and digital applications, as well as experience with digital marketing platforms and current best practices, he will ensure all creative work exceeds expectations and achieves goals.

Hollister will focus on overseeing creative projects and directing the strategies of the department. This will include advising on high-level creative and marketing plans, leading creative projects, honing internal TAG marketing messages and activities, and guiding creative talent development. Hollister joined The Anderson Group in 2016 as director of digital strategies. He resides in Mount Joy, Pa., with his wife and two sons.

“These new additions and adjustments to our accomplished team build a stronger base from which we can propel clients forward and expand our services,” said Orlando. “This team has already proven able to execute the most sophisticated campaigns while integrating smart and innovative brand strategies, and I am confident these moves will strengthen that ability.”
