The Gene Haas Scholarship for Adult Students in the Precision/Computerized Machining Technology Program
Applications now being accepted for the 2017-2018 school year
The Continuing Education Department at the Berks Career & Technology Center is proud to announce the availability of the Gene Haas Scholarship due to a generous grant from the Gene Haas Foundation.
BCTC’s Continuing Education department prepares adult students for rewarding, respectable and well-paying careers in the machining industry.
The Gene Haas Scholarship – The Gene Haas Scholarships are available to qualified, new, full time adult students enrolled in the BCTC’s Precision/Computerized Technology program for the 2017-2018 school year.
Eligibility Requirements – Scholarship applicants must meet BCTC enrollment requirements including:
High school graduate or obtained a GED. Must pass State, Federal and Child Abuse Clearances o Must complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Must pass math and mechanical comprehension exam.
Application process – Go to Adult Day School Scholarships under the Adult/Continuing Ed tab at berkscareer.com or follow http://www.berkscareer.com/conteduc.cfm?subpage=1994102. Scroll to the bottom of the page to submit the essay, print the Day School application, view instructions to obtain required clearances and submit a FAFSA. Deadline is August 11, 2017 for the Fall 2017 semester start date of August 28, 2017.
