Petrunak Named Executive Director of Baseballtown Charities

(Reading, Pa) – Baseballtown Charities has announced that Reading Fightin Phils Director of Marketing Tonya Petrunak has been named Executive Director of Baseballtown Charities.  Petrunak will assume all responsibilities for day-to-day management of Baseballtown Charities and Baseballtown Dream League.

“We are so lucky to have Tonya’s experience, relationships in the community and her skill sets to lead Baseballtown Charities into our new era”, said President of Baseballtown Charities Chuck Domino. 

“I am honored and excited to have the opportunity to lead Baseballtown Charities”, said Petrunak.  “I feel passionately about our community and its love of baseball.  I look forward to expanding my role and working with Craig Stein, Chuck Domino, Scott Hunsicker and every committee member to grow Baseballtown Charities and continue the history of baseball in our town starting with our children.”

Petrunak will represent and promote Baseballtown Charities and the Baseballtown Dream League throughout the community by developing and directing the volunteers, overseeing marketing and communication efforts, driving fundraising efforts, supervising maintenance of facilities, grounds and equipment plus developing event schedules. 

A graduate of Exeter Township High School, Petrunak received her B.A. in Communication from Slippery Rock University in 2000. She currently resides in Wyomissing with her husband Jon and their children Charlotte and Kaden.
