Birdsboro, PA – A $1,000 reward is offered for any information regarding Walton, a 10-month-old hound mix left for dead behind the Walmart in Exeter Township on Monday, July 17, 2017.

Walton was taken to Berks Animal and Emergency Referral Center for treatment immediately after the Exeter Police contacted the Animal Rescue League.  A dog his age should normally weigh around 60 lbs., but Walton only weighed 22 lbs.  He later received additional treatment at Wyomissing Animal Hospital, but was too fragile to survive and passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017.

“We do not know who Walton’s owners are, but we are hoping someone does and we can get justice for this innocent soul,” stated Liz McCauley, Executive Director of the ARL.

An anonymous donor offered the $1,000 reward for any information about Walton.  Please call the ARL Humane Police officers at 610.373.8830 ext. 106 if you recognize Walton and have any information regarding his owners.
