Second Saturday Veterans Progam With Guest Speaker Robert D. Orzechowski

Vietnam veteran Robert D. Orzechowski will be the speaker at the Wyomissing Public Library’s Second Saturday Veterans Progam on August 12th at 1:00 p.m. The library is located at 9 Reading Boulevard in Wyomissing. The program is free and open to the public.

Orzechowski enlisted in the Marine Corps at the age of 17 and after basic training at Parris Island, South Carolina, served three tours in Vietnam. He was in the infantry as an M60 machine gunner initially, and then served as a Squad Leader. His first tour included the Tet Offensive of 1968. He is the recipient of the Vietnam Service medal with 5 stars, a Combat Action Ribbon, and others.

After returning home, Orzechowski earned a BS degree from Penn State University, and then went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is a life member of the Marine Corps League. He is the Chief Operating Officer at Lancaster Cancer Clinic. Orzechowski is the producer and host of Human Resource Management on BCTV/bctv.org.

Representatives of the Berks County Veterans Affiars Office will be available at the program to offer information and answer questions.
