Out of nearly 250 Pennsylvania hospitals, 27 met the high U.S. News standards and were ranked in the state. “Best Hospital” rankings help consumers better determine which hospitals provide the best care for the most serious or complex medical conditions and procedures. U.S. News evaluates data on nearly 5,000 hospitals across 16 adult specialties, 9 adult procedures and conditions and 10 pediatric specialties to determine its annual rankings and ratings report.
