Girls on the Run of Berks County – Board of Directors Recruitment

Girls on the Run of Berks County is seeking passionate volunteers to serve as members of the Board of Directors or on various committees. Girls on the Run is a character-building personal development program for girls grades 3-8 that creatively integrates running. Our program combines lessons that enhance self-esteem; promote positive problem solving strategies and foster healthy relationships with developmentally appropriate physical training for a 5K event.

Girls on the Run of Berks County is an Independent Council of Girls on the Run International. Since 2013, Girls on the Run of Berks County has offered our positive youth developmental program to over 2,000 local girls between the ages of 8 and 13 (grades 3-8) in over 48 local schools and one community site.
