Her 9-year old chocolate Labrador Retriever, Kona, is her ready and willing patient.

“Dog is Family,” a monthly 1 hour show on BCTV, will be hosting two guests on the August show from 12noon-1pm:

Dr. Julie Oswald, BVMS MRCVS, Holistic Veterinarian received her veterinary degree at The University of Glasgow in Scotland, where her childhood veterinary role model, James Herriot, also attended. She practiced in England for 5 years. She completed her European School of Postgraduate Studies (ESVPS) Certificate in Western Acupuncture & Chronic Pain Management-GPCert (WVA&CPM).

She started her mobile veterinary practice, Blue Run Veterinary Wellness Services, in Elverson, PA one year ago. She is a holistic veterinarian; her services include acupuncture, pain management, herbal medicine/nutrition, hospice care, and end of life services. She will share information about all of her services and demonstrate an acupuncture treatment with Kona, one of her Labrador retrievers.

Marcy Tocker, Founder of Grey Muzzle Manor in Fleetwood, PA

Grey Muzzle Manor acts as a sanctuary for senior animals and animals. The main purpose and mission is to provide an opportunity for individuals to discover the positive effects of animal interaction on well being. Grey Muzzle Manor is a 4 acre hobby farm where now there are horses, dogs, cats, chickens, pigs and a goat.

This one-hour show explores all topics in Dogdom on ways to raise a happy, healthy, socially well adjusted dogs. It also brings to light how dogs have the power to change lives in many different positive ways and provides a way for people to share their personal stories on the profound bond between themselves and their dogs.
