Opening Exhibitions

John Elder

Cohen Gallery east

September 2 – October 15

“Before I became a photographer, I did not know what the word passion meant. I didn’t truly understand what it meant to ‘go all out’, 100%, to be ‘all in’, committed, to love an activity and a subject. Photography changed my life. It changed the way I see, what I see, and my perception of that seen. I simply look at the world differently than before I became a photographer.” – John Elder

Space Consciousness

Margaret Noel & Zoe Cohen

Cohen Gallery west

September 2 – October 15

This exhibition is an investigation into space, structure and time expressed in the medium of paper. Buildings hold memories and contain a unique historical consciousness. The medium of paper compliments this idea perfectly as fragments are built up and cut away to reconstruct fragmented structures that contain complex histories.

Summer Ambassador Fellowship Exhibition

GoggleWorks Lobby

now through September 15

This is a culminating exhibition of works created by our 2017 Summer Ambassador Fellows. The Summer Ambassador Fellowship Program at GoggleWorks offers a select number of local high school students the opportunity to explore their artistic skill and expand their portfolio within a professional studio environment, under the guidance of professional artist-mentors. The Summer Ambassador Fellowship Program is made possible through a generous donation by Ray and Carole Neag.
