Carl Anderson Named Executive in Residence at Alvernia University

(Reading, PA) — Carl G. Anderson, Jr., general partner of Cannondale Partners LLP, has been named Business Executive in Residence at Alvernia University, for the 2017-18 academic year.

Launched in 2015 through a partnership program between the O’Pake Institute for Ethics, Leadership and Public Service and the university’s Business Department, Alvernia’s Executive in Residence program provides students unprecedented, personal access to corporate executives. Beyond offering public lectures, these community leaders often participate in courses related to their expertise, mentor students and host workshops.

In addition to his role as General Partner of private investment company Cannondale Partners LLP, Anderson retired as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Arrow International, Inc., in 2007. He has held executive level positions with ABC School Supply, Inc., James River Corporation, Procter & Gamble and Nestle Foods Corporation. He also serves as Director of Childcare Education Institute, and Chairman of the Board of Sonivate, Inc., a medical device company.

Anderson will finish his term as keynote speaker for the university’s Delta Mu Delta induction ceremony in May 2018. The Delta Mu Delta honor society is only open to students at universities that are accredited by the Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Students invited to join are the top academic performers in the business curriculum.
