The Reading Royals have announced that the organization has hired John Senick as the team’s Director of Ticket Sales and Service. Senick, who will oversee the Royals’ ticketing department including the management of all matters related to the sales and service of game night tickets, will begin his duties with the team immediately.
“We’re excited to bring John on board,” said Ray Melcher, the Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of the Royals. “He has had a long and successful career in the sales industry, which has included the management of sales teams. John has also indicated his life-long passion for the sport of hockey, having played and coached the sport at a variety of levels. We believe that he has the perfect combination of experience and drive to ensure that our fans and patrons received the very best in service when purchasing tickets to a Royals’ game.”
Senick, who was born in south Philadelphia but is a long-time resident of the Reading area, has an extensive history of successful sales experience, principally in the automobile industry. His work history has included several roles where he trained, managed and led multi-person sales forces.
Senick has also been active in various charitable organizations in the Reading area including Keystone Soldiers, a non-profit dedicated to making Christmas a bit more joyous for troops overseas. Senick played youth hockey growing up in the southeastern Pennsylvania area and has also coached the sport at several local rinks.
