Habitat for Humanity of Berks County is a 501 (c) 3 organization that provides a first-time homeownership program. Our vision of giving a “hand up” rather than a “hand out” has helped many families in Berks county achieve their dreams of owning a home. Recent success stories include 140 Oley Street, a house remodeled by Habitat, which has been occupied by the De La Paz family since June. Current projects include 638, 648, and 666 Tulpehocken Street.
