DANBURY, Conn. – Albright junior women’s soccer goalkeeper Alexis Tunney added another accolade this week when she was named ECAC Division III South Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, announced by the ECAC this week.
The announcement comes on the heels of Tunney winning the MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week award. This is the first time she has ever received the weekly ECAC accolade

The Galloway, N.J. native matched her career-high in saves with 10 on 24 shots as she valiantly led the Lions to a double-overtime scoreless tie against No. 11 Messiah on October 4.
