Career-Day on Senior Day Earns Kutztown’s Kane PSAC Athlete of Week Honor

KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Chris Kane saved his best for last, throwing for a career-high in yardage and touchdowns in his final career game to lead the Kutztown University football team to victory on Nov. 11, earning him this week’s Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Offensive Athlete of the Week.

Kane threw for the third-most yards in school history Saturday against Slippery Rock (469) with five touchdowns. He completed 24-of-36 passes and threw touchdowns to five different receivers.

In his two starts this year (Nov. 4 at Cheyney), Kane threw for 913 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Kane is a four-year PSAC Scholar-Athlete and has earned Dean’s List honors in each of his eight semesters at KU.
