When: The 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month from 1-2 PMWhere: Oley Valley Community LibraryDo you like to write? Have you ever wanted to write a book but not sure where to begin? Do you struggle getting your thought down on to paper? Join us for our bi-weekly writing workshop led by Denice Deantonio! No experience necessary and all are welcome!Guided Autobiography is way to tell your story. Using themes participants are “guided to share their life story. The benefits of Guided Autobiography are:• Increased self-acceptance• Decreased anxiety and tension• Increased energy and vigor • Increased positive view of others • A feeling of connectedness and friendshipThis is a fun way to review and share your life story.Bring a paper, pen and your thoughts! I grew up in East Reading and presently reside in Fleetwood. I have a Bachelors Degree in Nursing from West Chester University. I also have a Masters Degree in Education from Temple University. I worked for over twenty years as a nurse. I taught high school-during the last eight years of my career.I have been trained as a facilitator in Guided Autobiography. I have always enjoyed reading and writing. I have had pieces published in Stroke Connection Magazine, an American Heart Association affiliate. I am presently retired. I enjoy coloring and reading. I am married and have two adult children.”
