WYOMISSING, PA – Tompkins VIST Bank has announced that it has promoted Stefanie Shirk and Emily Myers to new positions.
Shirk, vice president of Business Development, is now also regional community bank manager. She is responsible for supervising the operations and growth of the Blandon, Breezy Corners, Hamburg, Northpointe (Leesport), Exeter, Bern, and Boyertown branches.
A resident of Lebanon, Shirk previously was manager of the Northpointe branch in Leesport. She has
20 years of financial services experience. Prior to joining Tompkins VIST Bank in 2004, she was a customer service representative at Citizens Bank. She is a graduate of Tompkins VIST Bank’s Professional Development Program and has completed courses with the American Bankers Association. Active in the community, Shirk is a member of the Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Women2Women and is executive secretary for The Kings Academy board of directors. She also supports the American Cancer Society.
Myers, of Shillington, is now branch operations manager of the bank’s Northpointe office in Leesport. In this role, she is responsible for maintaining and growing customer relationships, supervising staff, and assuring compliance with bank operations. She previously was assistant manager. Myers has 14 years of banking experience. A graduate of Wilson High School, she is a member of the Greater Reading Young Professionals as well as Emerging Leaders United. In 2014, she received the Tompkins VIST Bank’s Customer Service Award.
