Free Adoption Weekend to Give Animals a Home this Holiday Season

Dec 07, 2017 • by The Humane Society of Berks County

Reading, PA—Thanks to the generosity of Silverbox Creative Studio, all adoptable pets at The Humane Society of Berks County are free to a great home from Friday, December 8 through Sunday, December 10, during its “Home for the Holidays” Free Pet Adoption Weekend.

“We decided to sponsor an adoption weekend because we believe every animal has the right to a good home. We both have rescue dogs and the love and comfort they provide to our families is priceless. During this holiday season we are happy to help the Humane Society provide that love to as many families and animals as possible,” said Susan Sidoriak and Corinne Hunsicker, principals at Silverbox.

All pet adoption fees are waived during this spring-themed adoption weekend. Adoptions include Humane Pennsylvania’s 30-Day Adoption Health Guarantee, spaying or neutering (prior to adoption), vaccinations and microchip registration. Normal adoption policies still apply.

Meet your new fur-ever friend and celebrate the holidays, together! To view the many pets available for adoption at the HSBC, visit humanepa.org/adoption or meet the animals at the shelter, in-person, during scheduled operating hours. The HSBC is located at 1801 N. 11th Street, Reading, PA 19604. For more information about this exciting promotion, please call 610-921-2348 or email [email protected].
