Warm Clothes for Cold Months

Last week the Olivet Boys & Girls Club of Reading picked up winter clothing that has been donated by Reading Hospital employees for local children from the club.

Reading Hospital Magnet Champions held the Winter Clothing Drive to benefit 500 children from the Olivet Boys & Girls Clubs. Employees of Reading Hospital, Reading Hospital Rehabilitation at Wyomissing and the Reading Hospital SurgiCenter at Spring Ridge donated new or gently used hats, gloves, scarves and coats for boys and girls ages 6 to 18.

Olivet Boys & Girls Club has been serving the youth of Greater Reading since 1898. The organization impacts the lives of some of the area’s hardest to reach young people by providing them with a safe, positive and fun environment through supportive relationships, opportunities, and recognition.

Reading Hospital is proud to partner with the Olivet Boys & Girls Club to support local children.
