Black History Month Celebration at Olivet Boys & Girls Club’s PAL Center for the Arts

Black History Month Celebration

1:00 PM at PAL Center for the Arts

Speaker – Frank McCracken of the NAACP

Featuring performances by members of the Center for the Arts Performing Arts classes:

Olivet KIDS CHORUS (RMF), instructor; Tama McConnellOlivet TEEN CHORUS (RMF), instructor; Chris BurkholderAfrican Drumming (RMF), instructor; Janet PeckGuitar Club – Performer Level (RMF), instructor; Josh Taylor

Performance shows sponsored by the Yocum Institute for Arts Education:

KIDS DANCE and TAP/Hip-Hop Fusion instructor, Ann BurkotJanet Peck is also the instructor and choreographer for WONTA NARA, Olivet’s West African Dance Ensemble

Additional performances include ACTS 29 a multi-generational dance ensemble with Bethel A.M.E. Church, Reading and much, much MORE!
