Cupcake Wars

Reading, PA – The Restoring Hope Foundation is unveiling its 1st Annual Cup-Cake Wars on April 9, 2018 at the Crowne Plaza from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. To help raise awareness and additional funds for our annual projects, the Foundation is asking for both Professional and Amateur bakers to bring their Best Cupcakes or Cakes, as well as recipes, and go mitt to mitt with each other to win the coveted “Best of” awards.

There will be four winners (Best Cupcake Professional, Best Cake Professional, Best Cupcake Amateur and Best Cake Amateur). Winners will be determined by the number of votes they receive from attendees. Each attendee will have the opportunity to taste each of the entries and vote for one baker in each category. Winners will receive a plaque they can proudly display.

In addition to the tastings, attendees will have the opportunity to bid on some great prizes in our silent auction, and everyone will take home a keepsake cookbook.

We are currently accepting both professional and amateur bakers for this fun and yummy event. Information and registration forms are available on our website – http://hbarestoringhope.org/. The deadline for baker registrations is March 12.

We are also excited to share this new opportunity with local companies to showcase their businesses to the community through our event. We invite them to become a sponsor and share in the success of this exciting new experience. Every sponsor will be recognized in our Keepsake Cookbook and various other ways. Information about sponsorship is available on our website – http://hbarestoringhope.org/.

The number of tickets for this event is limited, so don’t wait! Tickets can be purchased at http://hbarestoringhope.org/.

The mission of Restoring Hope Foundation is helping working or retired folks across Berks County who have challenging housing needs by assisting them with repairs and renovations so that they can live in a safe and quality environment with their family.
