More Than Forty-Five Local Employers to Attend RACC Job Fair on Wednesday, April 4th

Reading, PA-The Career Center at Reading Area Community College will host its annual Job Fair on Wednesday, April 4, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Gust Zogas Student Union Building.

Representatives from over 45 for-profit, government, and non-profit organizations will be available to meet with students regarding full-time, part-time, seasonal employment and internship opportunities. Registered employers include St. Luke’s University Health Network, Phoebe Berks, East Penn Manufacturing, YMCA of Reading and Berks, Penn State Health, PA department of Corrections, F.M. Brown’s Sons, Inc., Reading Police Department, Reading School District, Service Electric Cablevision, Inc. and many more. Students, Alumni and Community members are welcome.

Marlene Fares, RACC Career Development Specialist says “the Job Fair is a boundless opportunity to meet and network with employers and allow candidates to establish a personal connection to supplement a resume. This event is a great way to learn about the different occupations within a respective industry or deciding what industry one would like to enter.”

It is important for Job Fair attendees to be dressed professionally and to make a positive impression. In addition, the RACC Career Center staff in the Career Center in Berks Hall, room 220, is always readily available to meet with students and alumni to discuss their job or internship searches, as well as other career-related questions.
