Mark your calendar for the Spring Iron Pour!

7-10pm / at GoggleWorks

Don’t miss the exciting display as 2,000 pounds of reclaimed scrap iron is heated to 3,000 degrees and poured into molds. The event also features live music by Peter Snyder Trio, a fire performance by 7Textures, fire pits, and S’mores. Food will be available for purchase courtesy of Smokehouse Food Truck and Belly: Kitchen & Drinkery. Cash bar featuring Sly Fox Beer. Admission and parking are free.

Co-presented by Albright College and GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, the Spring Iron Pour will be led by Albright assistant professor of art, Brian Glaze and visiting artist, Kyle Lusk. Rain date: April 21, 2018.

Since completion of his graduate work at East Carolina University in 1998, Lusk has created and exhibited work in galleries and public venues throughout the southeast. He served seven years on the Art faculty at Appalachian State University and is currently Associate Professor of Art at Brevard College in Brevard, North Carolina.

Join him before the Iron Pour for a slideshow and talk about his process and work.
