It was Love at First Wiggle

It was Love at First Wiggle

We are beyond excited to share that Mercedes, a playful pit with unique allergies, has been adopted! Mercedes came to the Humane Society of Berks County in November 2017. She was suffering from an unidentified skin irritant that left her with scores, scabs, and extremely itchy fur.

Our veterinary and shelter teams worked tirelessly to evaluate, test, and properly diagnose Mercedes allergies. Through their expertise, diligence, and care, Mercedes was properly diagnosed and began treating her for her allergies.

It is through the state-of-the-art veterinarian care at the Humane Veterinary Hospital in Berks, that we were able to provide this extraordinary pup with the opportunity to live a healthy, happy life.

We could all use more people like Bill in this world. Be like Bill, adopt a shelter pet!
