RBCC Annual Prayer Breakfast

The Reading Berks Conference of Churches (RBCC) will host its annual Christian Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, June 7, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, 701 Penn Street, Reading, PA 19601.  Breakfast will be available starting at 6:45 a.m. The formal program begins promptly at 7:30 a.m., and will end about 9:00 a.m.

The Prayer Breakfast brings together local church congregations, pastors, businesses, leaders, and community members.  Beyond breakfast, the event features a time prayer, recognition of people at work in the community, and speaker Gary Wilkerson of World Challenge/World Poverty Solutions. Gary is the son of the late David Wilkerson, founder of Teen Challenge.

Feet on the Street & Ebenezer Mountain View Church will provide worship musicRBCC Board President, Nancy Lennert, will offer a welcome & opening prayerMike Reinert is our event MCHarry Deitz will lead a special time of prayerRBCC Executive Director, Michael Kaucher, will share a ministry updateDirector of Teen Challenge, Kris McFadden, will introduce our speakerPastor Jesus Guererro will lead an invitation for supportBishop Robert Brookins, President of Reading & Vicinity Ministerial Association and Pastor of Holy Trinity Church of God, will offer a closing prayer 

A 15-20 minute intermission will follow the prayer breakfast. Attendees are invited to stay for a presentation by World Poverty Solutions (WPS). RBCC and WPS plan to announce a strategic partnership to combat poverty in the Reading region.
