Reading, PA— Suzanne Fellows is known for her impassioned works as a painter and printmaker with a studio at GoggleWorks. She also teaches art, at GoggleWorks and at RACC.
Suzanne shares that, “Working on this portrait exhibit at the Humane Society of Berks County, has been a great opportunity for me. I work primarily with acrylic paints and I usually have several series I’m working on at any given time. Occasionally someone asks me to make a painting of a dog or cat, which is so fun! I love when I get the chance to paint pet portraits. They bring so much love and laughter into our lives with their big smiles and silly antics.”
Suzanne has been actively teaching at colleges, galleries, and art centers for eighteen years. She received her BFA in Communication Design from Kutztown University and an MFA in Fine Art from Vermont College of Fine Arts. As a resident artist of GoggleWorks, the biggest arts center of its kind in the nation, Suzanne exhibits her works, stating, “My imagery expresses a love and respect for the magic of the natural world – a love that springs from childhood summers spent hiking, canoeing and picking wildflowers in West Virginia and New Hampshire. This deep connection is something that we cannot afford to lose or we all will be lost.”
During the event, guests are invited to connect with Suzanne, view examples of her work, purchase pieces, and enjoy light refreshments with other local community members and regional leaders.
