Berks Nature welcomes newest Ambassadors

New 2018 Ambassador Class

Berks Nature is proud to welcome our newest class of graduating Berks Nature Ambassadors! The following Ambassadors completed 25-hours of volunteer training over the past few months to graduate from program May 29th. Congratulations to all, and thank you for your dedication- we’re thrilled to welcome you to the Berks Nature family! Holly MetzgarIan MetzgarKathy GrimSuzanne DillmanJeff SlaymakerJan GernsheimerOur newest Ambassadors are the third class to graduate, bringing our Berks Nature Ambassador roster up to 28. To date Berks Nature Ambassadors have helped plant trees and create wildlife habitat, organize other groups of volunteers to conduct trail maintenance, represented Berks Nature and our educational booth at community events & fairs, provided tours highlighting the green features of The Nature Place; and helped enhance native plants by removing invasive species from our project sites.Interested in becoming a Berks Nature Ambassador yourself, or learning more about the program?
