Haseley Named Eastern League Player of the Week

The Eastern League has announced that Reading Fightin Phils outfielder Adam Haseley has been named Eastern League Player of the Week for the period of July 9 through July 15.  The 2017 Philadelphia Phillies First Round Draft pick is receiving the award for the first time this season. Haseley has already made an impact with the Fightin Phils after just having been called up to double-A on Wednesday, July 11.  He played in his first game with the Fightins on Thursday, July 12 against the Bowie Baysox.  He batted .385 with one double, two home runs, three runs batted in, five runs scored, two walks and a .923 slugging percentage in four games this past week. The Orlando, Florida native homered twice against the Baysox in just his second game with the Fightin Phils.  Haseley’s first home run was a solo home run in the bottom of the first inning.  He followed up with a two-run home run in the bottom of the third inning.  He led the Eastern League in slugging percentage (.923) and home runs (2) this past week.
