Fromm Electric Supply received the second-ever “Fightin for Reading” Award on behalf of the Reading Fightin Phils on Thursday, July 12th at America’s Classic Ballpark when the team celebrated its “Love it Here, Go Local” Night. “I don’t think Fromm Electric Supply could be as successful as we’ve been in a community like Greater Reading if we didn’t have loyal customers who have been using us for so many years”, said Fromm Electric Supply CEO Michael Fromm. “I think of some of the names of the people we do business with and I’m sure my father (Bernie Fromm) can remember doing business with these companies back in the 1960’s.”For 60 years, Fromm Electric Supply has been associated with the Greater Reading Community. They are a supplier of electrical products to the construction and manufacturing industry. In construction they supply pipe, wire, electrical devices and lighting equipment. In the industrial side of their business, they work with operations, maintenance products and large scale automation systems. “One of the things I’m proudest of is that we are a third generation business in Berks County”, Fromm added. “When my grandfather came here in 1958 and had an opportunity to develop the business here, he stayed.
