Loomis Holds Partner Appreciation Golf Charity Classic to Benefit Olivet Boys & Girls Clubs

READING, PA – The Loomis Company sponsored its sixth partner appreciation charity golf outing at the Green Acres Golf Course in Bernville, PA. This is an annual fundraising event which raises money for Olivet Boys & Girls Club of Reading, PA. The Loomis Company raised $38,500 at the charity golf outing, with 100% of the proceeds being donated to Olivet Boys & Girls Club. Over the past six years of holding this event, The Loomis Company has donated more than $140,000 to this organization.

The Clubs provide a safe environment with programs that encourage character development, education, life skills and exposure to arts and culture. Such exposure allows kids to see their way out of poverty and become productive, outstanding members of society.

The Olivet Boys & Girls Club has a strong reputation for providing life-changing experiences to its members, including mentoring experiences with diverse, trained and caring staff and volunteers who want to make a difference in the life of a child.

A chartered member of Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Olivet Boys & Girls Club serves over 3,700 members a year, 1,500 different participants a week and 800 kids a day at 14 locations in Berks and Montgomery Counties. The Club was founded in 1898. Its mission is “To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as healthy, caring, productive, responsible citizens.
