Reading Distilling Guild Christmas in July

Reading, PA –   Reading Distilling Guild, Berks County’s first craft distillery will be hosting a Christmas in July event this Saturday, July 28th  in Downtown Reading, on the corner of 5th & Penn from 5pm – 10pm.   The event will include a limited release batch of Christmas rum, with bottles available for purchase.   The event will also feature cocktails by Reading Occasional Cocktail Club, food by House of Jerk Dread, live music by LionRootz, and summertime yard games.

In an effort to support the local community, distillery owner, Chris Flowers, a Reading native, will also be collecting school supplies at the event to be distributed to the Reading School District.  He will also donate a portion of proceeds from bottle sales at the event to raise funds to purchase back to school supplies, and there will be a chance to purchase raffle tickets to win a basket full of the local distillery’s product, mixers, and merchandise.  Raffle ticket sales will go directly to support the needs students returning to the classroom in the RSD.

The community is invited to come out and enjoy this July evening together that will be full of good times while also supporting a good cause.
