Minor League Baseball has announced that the Reading Fightin Phils, double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, made the list of Top 25 teams in licensed merchandise sales for 2017. The numbers are based on total licensed merchandise sales from January 1 – December 21, 2017. Minor League Baseball set a record with more than $70.8 million in retail sales, a combined effort from all 160 teams. “The Reading Fightin Phils are proud and honored to be recognized as one of the top teams in all of Minor League Baseball in regard to merchandise”, said Fightin Phils General Manager Scott Hunsicker. “When a fan chooses to wear your logo, they are choosing to “fly your flag” for all to see. The Lehigh Valley IronPigs, the triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, joined the Fightin Phils in making the Phillies as one of the four organizations to make that happen.
