WYOMISSING, PA—Tompkins VIST Bank has announced that Andrew Bell has joined the bank as a business development officer. His role is to connect Tompkins VIST Bank services with businesses and individuals throughout the Berks and Schuylkill Counties. He is responsible for actively pursuing new consumer and commercial deposit relationships, establishing active community involvement in order to support business development activities and assisting in referring small business, commercial banking, insurance, and wealth management relationships.
Bell, of Wyomissing, brings eight years of marketing and business development experience to the company. He previously served at McCarthy Engineering; prior to that he was the President of the Reading Royals. Bell graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor’s Degree and received his J.D. from Widener Law School.
Active in the community, Bell is a member of the Berks and Pennsylvania Bar Associations and a board chair for Big Vision Foundation. He previously held board positions with the Greater Reading Convention and Visitors Bureau, as well as the Gilmore Henne Community Fund.
