Antietam Valley Monday Market Mingle

Market Mingle

We are back and ready to celebrate the waning days of summer with our first Market Mingle! Welcome to our new and old favorite vendors, community shoppers, and neighborhood friends as we gather to experience the Antietam Valley Farmers & Artists Market! Our Summer Market Mingle is Monday, August 20, from 5 – 8 pm. Stop on your way home from work, take an evening stroll, or make it a date night destination.

We are still accepting vendor applications for the Market Mingle as well as our Fall/Winter Market Season. Due to the (very exciting) Carsonia Park construction, space is limited. Apply early. Click here for downloadable market applications, and rules & regulations.

The Antietam Valley Farmers’ and Artists’ Market (AVFAM) was created and organized to operate a local farmers market, offering consumers a wide range of locally grown produce and products made by the vendors themselves. The market will serve a long established residential community of over 9000 people, as well as become a destination market for walkers and drivers alike. Our market is designed to create an enhanced sense of community, and will help to sustain our local farming families and artists by providing a strong and direct market sales site. Both vendors and shoppers alike will enjoy the beautiful park setting of the market: an open-air market when the weather is agreeable, and a large indoor covered space for when nature does not cooperate with us.

The Antietam Valley Farmers’ & Artists’ Market is sponsored and organized by the Antietam Valley Community Partnership, with support from the Antietam Valley Recreation & Community Center and the Mt. Penn Water Authority. Throughout the farmers’ market season, attendees will have the opportunity to buy nutritious, flavorful produce and homemade products, gather with friends and neighbors, enjoy our neighborhood park, and learn about the benefits of supporting local agriculture and the local economy. The market will take place rain or shine throughout the season. Use 905 Byram Street, 19606 as your GPS address for the market.
