Berks • Fire • Water Restorations Offers Free Disinfectant to Individuals Affected by Flooding

READING, PA – Berks • Fire • Water Restorations, Inc. SM is donating Blue Lyte, an all-natural and non-toxic antimicrobial disinfectant that is environmentally and ecologically safe, in an effort to help more individuals affected by the region’s recent unprecedented series of severe weather.

“Our team has been working around the clock since last week to answer to all of the losses in a timely and efficient manner. Although it puts a smile on our face to be able to help so many people get through this devastation, we are saddened that we cannot help everyone. People are struggling and distraught. This is probably the hardest thing to watch for us as a team,” says Lisa Lavender, COO of Berks • Fire • Water Restorations, Inc. SM.

In order to help fellow members in the community and give a hand to those in need, the company is reaching out to local municipalities and emergency management agencies that are working hard to help their residents. Agencies are welcome to contact the company to pick up the free antimicrobial disinfectant between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. If agencies are unable to pick it up themselves, the BFW team is more than willing to try and deliver the free supplies where and when they are able.

Berks • Fire • Water Restorations, Inc. SM encourages those in need of help to contact them at their earliest convenience, as the disinfectant is available on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition to the free disinfectant, the company will also be providing a packet that offers instructions and guidance on how to properly handle flood clean up and mold.

“It is times like these that being a restorer is the most rewarding. Even if we cannot physically help everyone, a friendly voice, encouragement and advice can go a long way. We hope this effort helps as many people as it can,” says Lavender.
