Kombucha Brewing Comes to the Exeter Community Library

Kombucha Brewing Comes to the Exeter Community Library

Local residents are invited to attend a kombucha brewing seminar in October at the Exeter Community Library. The presentation will be given by Olga Sorzano, the founder of Baba’s Brew, and will cover the basics of kombucha-making and the benefits of fermented foods. Guests will have the opportunity to taste various kombucha samples throughout the evening.

Born in Siberia, Sorzano developed a taste for her favorite recipe as many young children often do – from her grandmother’s pantry. After moving to the U.S. in 2000, Sorzano missed the taste she associated with home and in 2015, she brought her Old World recipe to Chester County and opened a nano kombucha brewery. She’s shared her creations with area residents ever since. Baba’s Brew kombucha is infused with 100% organic whole berries or fruit, herbs, and spices, and blends are often inspired by local climate and flavors.

All are welcome to attend Sorzano’s demonstration from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on October 10th at the Exeter Community Library at 4569 Prestwick Dr., Reading, 19606. To register for this event, stop by the library circulation desk or call 610-406-9431. For more information, visit www.berkslibraries.org/branch/exeter or the Exeter Community Library Facebook page.
