GRCA Announces First Annual Building Berks Awards Receives 30 Projects in 13 Categories

Award Winners will be announced on November 13

Reading, PA – The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance (GRCA) has announced the nomination list for the inaugural Building Berks Awards & Expo.

The GRCA received a total of 30 project nominations, covering all 13 award categories. These projects illustrate the growth in the construction and real estate industries as well as the outstanding companies headquartered in Berks that have facilitated this exceptional development. For this inaugural year, projects must have been completed between January 2016 and June 2018 and can be new construction or renovations.

Winners will be announced at the Building Berks Awards & Expo, to be held on November 13, 2018, at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Reading. The GRCA will also host a trade expo prior to the event that will give builders, construction suppliers, architects, engineering firms, and real estate firms the opportunity to showcase their products and services. All nominated projects will be featured in a journal published as part of the event.

The nominations will be judged by an expert panel of Berks County’s leaders in their industries. Members include:
