Ms. Becker will be responsible for exploring and developing new services for the clients of Berks Encore that will enhance and contribute to the long term success of the agency.
Julia was employed by Penske Truck Leasing for 7 years, most recently as a Lead Customer Onboarding Specialist. As a leader in the Onboarding process, Julia developed the relationships with the management teams of new National Lease Accounts and created the foundation for long lasting business relationships. She also worked with the Legalization and Rental teams during her tenure with the company.
In 2013 she was loaned by Penske to the United Way of Berks County as a Loaned Campaign Specialist, working on the campaign that raised more than $9.3 million dollars. She is a former Cabinet member of the Emerging Leaders United, and United Way at Work campaign coordinator for Penske Truck Leasing.
Julia graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Penn State University Park in 2010. She received her Project Management certificate in 2014 from Penn State Berks. Julia continued her education to earn her Master of Business Administration degree and Human Resources Management certificate from Penn State Great Valley in 2018. She currently serves as a member of the Alumni Society Board of Penn State Great Valley.
Julia and her husband, Joe reside in Exeter Township with their Shih Tzu Poodle mix named Dobby. When they are not cheering for Penn State, they love to travel, volunteer and spend time with friends and family in their former neighborhood of West Reading.
