Albright College Students Published in Berks County Living Magazine

Reading, PA — A dozen Albright College adult and undergraduate students penned 35 Best of Berks business profiles for Berks County Living magazine’s December 2018 issue. In addition, two Albright alumni entrepreneurs were celebrated as Best of Berks winners.

A core group of adult business administration students that included Jason Brown, Zackary Dobey, Jeff Osborn, Will Rivera, Eric Schultz and Janis Westcott wrote profiles during a seven-week business writing class, under the direction of English lecturer, Marian Wolbers.

Contributions were also made by English alumna Samantha Koller ’17 and a number of traditional students: English and psychology junior Amy Chechi, communications and history senior Emily Durell, business administration and political science senior Benjamin Foreman, biology junior Ginger Hill, communications and theatre junior Shaone Kennedy, and biology and Spanish junior Raquel Rohrbach.

Melissa Wells, Albright’s School of Professional Studies business program coordinator noted that two Albright graduates Julianne Cleaver ’01 and Ben Franco ’06 were recognized as 2018 Best of Berks business owners. Cleaver’s Bella Jules Fashion Boutique won a Lifetime Best Local Clothing Boutique award and Franco’s Winedown Café and Wine Bar earned “Best Place to Meet for Drinks.” Both businesses are located in West Reading.
