The Muhlenberg Arts Board is organizing a Holiday House Decorating Contest. They have noticed over the years, that people like to elaborately decorate their homes and yards for the Holiday season. With this contest we hope to promote the goodness of the Holiday season.
The top winners in each category will win gift cards. All contestants must live in Muhlenberg Township or Laureldale Borough. The Township may be divided into zones if the number of entries is high. All decorating must be done by the homeowner, not a professional decorator.
Entry deadline is Dec. 14 at 12 noon and judging is on Sunday, Dec. 16 from 6 to 9PM. Categories include the Most Whimsical/Creative, Most Holiday Spirit, Most Classical, Most Contemporary and a Car Stopper.
To enter simply call 610-929-4727 and state that you want to enter the house contest and leave your name, address, phone number and what category you would like to enter OR you could email [email protected]. Winners will be notified by Dec. 20 and a photo of their home will be posted on the Township website and/or in the winter edition of the Township News. Get involved and register today.
