Comfort Pro Provides FREE Heating System To A Deserving Family This Holiday

A Warm Spirit of Giving

Reading, PA – December 10, 2018: Comfort Pro, Inc. provides a FREE Lennox Heating system to Ruth Negron and her family of Reading. They are the deserving Berks County family selected as part of the 8th Annual Comfort Pro Cares Event!

After the panel reviewed eleven nomination letters, site evaluations were conducted by Comfort Pro and the Negron family was selected as the 2018 Comfort Pro Cares recipient.

The Negron family was nominated to receive the new heating system through Comfort Pro Cares by Beth Zullinger, Berks Technical Institute Program Director.

Negron and her three children have lived without heat for the past four years. Negron is a single mother who works full time at Burger King while attending the full-time Massage Therapy program at BTI. Negron has three children: a 13-year old son who suffers from ADD, ADHD, depression and is on the Autism spectrum; a 19-year-old daughter who is legally deaf and a 23-year-old son who suffers from ADD, ADHD and depression. Her oldest son works part-time to assist his mother with bills.

“Ruth wakes up super early every morning puts in several hours of work at her job then rushes to BTI and goes above and beyond in the classroom to then most days returns to work for the evening. She is going to school so she can change her life and make her family’s life better,“ said Zullinger in her nomination letter.

“With their heating system being non-operational for the past four years and no heat source, the Negron family has until now tried to snuggle together to keep warm,” said Robert Newpher II, Comfort Pro sales manager.

“I feel so blessed that my family was chosen. I honestly can’t believe we were chosen. We are so truly lucky. The new heating system is a blessing to my family, and I can’t thank Comfort Pro enough,” said Negron.

Doug Weisman, CEO of Comfort Pro, Inc. said, “we received eleven Comfort Pro Cares nominations this year. It was so moving to read all the letters especially the Negron family’s story and to know Comfort Pro could make a difference in their life especially during the holiday season.”

“On December 11th, a Comfort Pro team will be installing a Lennox high efficiency gas furnace, programmable thermostat and air cleaner. The team will also be replacing the existing return ductwork and increasing the supply outlets. The total project including equipment and labor is valued at more than $6,200,” said Newpher.
